Community Inclusion
At DHH LLC. we assist our clients with integrating and reconnecting with their communities. Often, individuals with disabilities are excluded from social relationships, community participation, activities, and employment. Inclusion aims to heal these disconnects by creating inclusive and diverse societies.
We have a new Community Inclusion program that gets individuals out into the community in small groups. (2-6)
Some of the benefits of inclusion for adults with disabilities are friendship skills, peer models, problem-solving skills, positive self-image, and respect for others. Community Inclusion is just that, "in the community". Staff will work with the Directors/ Managers to ensure programs have community activities for individuals served.
